Θα σας δώσω κάποιες οδηγίες στην αρχή στα ελληνικά, πριν πάμε στο μάθημά μας. Οπότε, για να δούμε τι θα κάνουμε σήμερα. Θα μάθουμε, λοιπόν, το τραγούδι ''We will rock you''. Για να το μάθετε, βέβαια, θα πρέπει εσείς να συνδεθείτε στο διαδίκτυο, να βρείτε το τραγούδι και να το τραγουδίσετε, και να κάνετε τις ασκήσεις που θα πούμε. Θα μάθουμε κάποιο λεξιλόγιο, προκειμένου να τραγουδίσουμε αυτό το τραγούδι, θα περιγράψουμε κάποιες εικόνες, θα απαντήσουμε κάποιες ερωτήσεις, θα φανταστούμε τη ζωή ενός ανθρώπου, και θα πούμε και θα γράψουμε την ιστορία του. Right, that's the song. Now, this is the vocabulary that we are going to need today for our activities. So, let's go to Quizlet, to the application that will help us learn the words. So, here are the words, repeat after me. Disgrace, kick, I can, banner, pour, blood, shout, plead, wave, mud. So, now let's look at these words in pictures. So, shame, this picture, is for the word disgrace, that's right. To hit something with your foot, this picture goes for the word kick. This picture is for the word I can. Here we see a banner, that's right. The word pour is for this picture, that's for pour. This picture shows blood, right, and to say something very loudly, this picture shows somebody shouting, that's shout. Plead is like beg, you beg for something, you plead for something. Now when you wave somebody hello, you wave somebody goodbye or you wave your flag or your banner, that's wave, the movement that you make. And this is mud, right, mud. So, let's play a matching game with these words. We'll make everything disappear here. Okay, so let's match the word can with its picture. Here it is, disappeared. The word blood, here. Kick with this picture, pour for somebody who has no money, disgrace, this shameful person and mud for this. Great job! Have a look at this picture now. There is a little boy, let's imagine some things about this boy. First of all, what's his name? Find a name, think of a name for him, give him a name. And what do you think, does he go to school? Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. What does he like doing in his free time? Does he play? Does he play video games? Does he play with his friends? Does he do sports? What is he doing right now, as you see him in the picture? Remember the words? Can you say the can? And he's kicking the can. How is he feeling? What do you think? Is he sad? Is he bored? Is he angry? Okay, here's the vocabulary that we need from the song, the vocabulary card. If you listen to the song, we will rock you, the first part, only the first part, you will listen some of these words, you will hear some of these words. Do that at home with your computer, but later you'll see that these are the words that you hear in the first part of the song. The word poor, kicking, noise, mud, disgrace, street, can, playing, boy, face and big man. Now let's go to this picture. What can you see in this picture? Describe it. It's a protest, it's a demonstration, right? So look at this young man on the chair and imagine his life. Who is this young man? What's his job? Is he a student? Does he work in an office? Is he unemployed? Where is he now? Is he in his house or is he in the streets? And what is he doing? You see he's waving a banner, a banner, right? And he's shouting maybe, why? Why do you think? Does he want more money? Does he want a job? And how is he feeling? Is he happy? Is he angry? Is he sad? What about him? Now if you listen to the second part of the song and search among these words, you will see that you can hear these words in this part. Hardman, disgrace, street, shouting, banner, world, face, waving and blood. Okay, what about this person? Who is this old man? Let's imagine. Where does he live? Does he live in a house, in a flat? Does he live in the streets? Is he homeless? Has he got a family? Maybe he has, maybe he hasn't. Has he got any children or brothers and sisters? How does he make a living, where does he get money to live on? Is he a beggar? And how is he feeling now as you see him? Is he happy or sad or depressed? What do you think? If you listen to the third part of the song and check four words from our card, you will see that the words you hear are poor, mud, disgrace, street, old man, pleading, eyes and face. Now, you can go to this, follow the link and go to ISL Collective. You will find there a video with the song We Will Rock You. You watch the video and from time to time it stops and asks you questions. You have to type the answer and if you get it right, you continue with the song. That will be very interesting for you and after you do that, let's go to our writing task. Now imagine that the boy we saw, the young man and the old man are the same person. Can you imagine his life? Can you imagine what happened from when he was a boy till his old age? Give him a name. Think about details of him, about his family, where he lives, what he does, what he did in his life and what's his life like now. And write his story, a short biography. You can organize it in three paragraphs, one when he was a little boy, then when he was a young man and as an old man. And name it the story of the name that you gave to this person and you write your story. And I want you to try to find the song in karaoke mode and sing it and be happy because you rock.
